Aloha and welcome to the home of the moʻolelo (story) tags for all Kealopiko designs. We wanted to provide a waihona (repository) for these stories so that you can access them at any time. Each tag is just a small window into a design, so think of them as jumping off points for your own research on these plants, animals, people, etc. The ʻōlelo (Hawaiian phrase) for each design can also be found on its moʻolelo tag.
How it works: The tags are grouped by the Hawaiian alphabet. Just click on a tile for a list of designs beginning with that letter (ex: ʻāhinahina will be found under tile A). If the design you are looking for does not begin with any of the letters in the Hawaiian alphabet (ex: Rhyncogonus), click the tile that says "other".
